ADHD
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development. The symptoms are present in two or more settings (e.g., at home, school, or work) and negatively impact social, academic, or occupational activities.

Symptoms of ADHD include inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Individuals with inattention may have difficulty sustaining focus, often make careless mistakes, seem not to listen when spoken to, struggle with organizing tasks, and are easily distracted. Hyperactivity symptoms include constant fidgeting, an inability to stay seated, excessive talking, and a sense of restlessness as if driven by a motor. Impulsivity manifests as difficulty waiting for one's turn, interrupting others, and blurting out answers prematurely.
