LaVinda McAuliffe

Born and raised in West Virginia, with southern charm and a calming accent, LaVinda holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education and two post master certificates in Family Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. Growing up in rural West Virginia, she was regularly around people in their "golden years", which rooted her love for them and passion for ensuring that they receive excellent care. She provides a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to listen and understand their particular needs while ensuring the patient’s confidence and a positive healing experience. Her scope of practice as a nurse practitioner across the lifespan encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common health care problems with a specialization in mental wellness.

 

Dr. Irfan Dahar, M.D.

Dr. Dahar, is a distinguished psychiatrist renowned for his extensive expertise in a diverse array of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder (ADD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and many other conditions. With a career spanning several decades, Dr. Dahar has solidified his reputation as a leading authority in the field. His deep understanding of complex conditions has made him a sought-after expert, while his compassionate approach to patient care has earned him the trust and respect of both patients and colleagues.

Christina Alcorn

MSN, PMHNP-BC

Christina Alcorn is originally from Brookville, OH. As a nurse, she cultivated a love for psychiatry. She earned her Master’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University to pursue a career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has experience working at hospitals on their inpatient psychiatric behavioral units. She also has taken care of patients with substance use disorders. She works with a variety of patients of all ages and diagnoses. She excels at listening to patients and engaging them with their treatment through taking time to explain diagnoses, medications, and non-pharmacological coping mechanisms. Christina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, writing, and theatre in her free time.

Melody Mumbi-Chibundi

MSN, PMHNP-BC

Melody was born in Zambia and raised in Ohio and Indiana. She is a daughter of a nurse, so it was natural for her to aspire to be a nurse. As a nurse, Melody worked in psychiatry at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  There, she was provided with the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people with different diagnoses.  A person is a being whose wholeness is valuable and deserves respect, assistance, and care”. Melody believes in taking care of the whole person, and in utilizing every mode of care available to help achieve goals for better mental health. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and to unwind with a good book and a cup of tea.

Jennifer Jacobs

MSW, LSW

Starting therapy may be the hardest or easiest decision you have ever made, either way, Jen is here to help! She has her Master’s Degree in social work from the University of South Carolina, and has been in the therapy field for over 6 years. She has worked with children and families from the age of 4 and up on a myriad of issues. She is also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She is from a military family, including her husband and working with PTSD is very close to her heart. Jen has also has worked with children (and their families) who have ADHD and/or Oppositional Defiant Disorder to discover ways to manage emotions and behaviors. She holds experience in working with substance use and helping people maintain their sobriety journey. She truly loves what she does and helping people feel just a little better. Kate Sloan

RN, MA, LPCC

Kate has been dedicated to mental healthcare for over 15 years. She has assisted teens, and adults in times of crisis. Witnessing clients transform the best version of themselves has been incredibly rewarding for Kate. Her wealth of life experience coupled with years in mental health, equips her with a diverse set of resources for client support. Kate’s expertise includes working with veterans dealing with PTSD and individuals of various ages struggling with anxiety and depression. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Kate congratulates you on taking the first step toward becoming the best version of yourself!

Hello, My name is Kim, I am a Medical Assistant, and excited to be with a small personalized practice to help mental health patients. I hold Mental health dear to my heart as my daughter struggled with Mental Health for many years and is now guiding me from heaven to make a difference in those who need direction to obtain services to good wellness. I have been a certified medical assistant for twenty years plus. I am a happy wife, mother and grandmother. Administrative Assistant

Ashley has served in the medical field in a variety of capacities throughout her career.  She has experience in a variety of positions in medical offices and has also served as a home health caregiver.  Her knowledge as a caregiver comes from her experience caring for her daughter who has cystic fibrosis and caring for her grandparent.  She and her husband have been married for 14 years.  They have two children who are involved in a variety of sports.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, working out at her local gym, and taking long rides with her husband on his Harley Davidson.

With a seamless blend of customer service expertise and a deep love for supporting mental health patients, Brad embodies the essence of compassionate care. Through his years in customer service roles, Brad honed his skills in active listening, empathy, and genuine connection, laying the foundation for his transition to mental health advocacy. Brad’s unique ability to merge his customer service background with his passion for mental health advocacy has assisted him in being a stellar administrative assistant in previous mental health clinics. Brad enjoys spending time with his family, and fishing.
