It requires a great deal of motivation, discipline and work from both parties for a therapeutic relationship to be an effective one. Patients will have varying success outcomes depending on the severity of their complaints, their capacity for introspection, and their motivation to apply what is learned when outside of sessions.

Patients may request their individual patient records in our office setting. We take our responsibility as providers seriously and make every effort to be transparent and efficient with our records,

Additionally, we strive to ensure that all progress notes are completed within seventy two hours of each patient visit.

Behavior Modification Services

We have providers who are Dementia certified. This certification allows them to offer extensive non pharmacological interventions so patients can enhance their quality of life and decrease the risk of disease progression.

Acute Crisis Management

Sometimes Hospital admissions are necessary, especially if the patient is in harm of themselves or others. There are times when providers feel that urgent referral to a higher level of care is necessary. In this event, we strive to maintain patient dignity and privacy at all times, and allow patients to make as many individual choices as possible.

Crisis Interventions will be shared with patients families and a list of hospitals will be provided for the patient, family and healthcare professionals to choose from. In case of an emergency, the patient will be sent to the closet hospital.

Medication Review and Management with each visit to prevent unnecessary medications

In the outpatient setting, psychiatric medications, including hypnotics, will be reviewed with each visit. Medications may be changed pending adverse effects or when maximum dose has no optimum effect. Dose reductions are attempted annually to achieve optimal medication dosage level.  Our goal is to prescribe the least amount of medication possible “less is more”, to prevent poly pharmacy. Labs will be ordered as needed to monitor medication dosage levels or for acute symptomology.

Outpatient Medication Management with Our Unique Approach

Our providers have taken multiple courses in advanced pharmacology and have experience managing multiple pharmacological agents and formulating correct diagnoses. However, is the fundamental belief of OwlBridge Wellness that “less is more”. Our providers strive for dose reduction and medication elimination whenever possible, and we believe this makes us unique.
